VMDO Architects recognized by Athletic Business Architectural Showcase

The firm receives 2007 Merit Award for its design of the University of Virginia's John Paul Jones Arena

Athletic Business has recently announced the winners of its 2007 Architectural Showcase competition and VMDO Architect's design of the University of Virginia's John Paul Jones Arena has been selected as one of this year's ten winners. Members of the architectural team will accept the Facility of Merit Award at Athletic Business' conference in November in Orlando, Florida.

Athletic Business is a monthly publication that provides a wide coverage of all aspects of facility planning, marketing, equipment, liability, operations and management topics. Areas of focus include Sports Law, College Sports, High School Sports, For-Profits and Military and Recreation. Athletic Business' Annual Architectural Showcase recognizes the best in recently constructed athletic, recreation and fitness facilities around the world.
