VMDO Architects announces new Marketing Director

Maggie Thacker returns after four years to resume her role as Associate and Director of Marketing and Business Development

Charlottesville, Virginia- May 15, 2008- The managing partners of VMDO Architects announced today the appointment of Maggie Thacker as the firm's new Marketing Director.

With over 18 years experience marketing architectural services, she brings a depth of industry knowledge to the award-winning firm.

Thacker joins VMDO from Daggett & Grigg Architects, where she served as Marketing Director and Associate Principal. Over the years she has worked with several notable architectural firms including the Chicago offices of Harry Weese Associates (designer of D.C.'s Metro System) and the international firm Perkins + Will.

Thacker returns to VMDO, where she previously served as marketing director for over nine years.
